Does God Feel Emotion?
God is generally viewed as a patron deity defined within the parameters of many common book religions. Many of these books define their patron deity with emotions and many of their followers associate their self with that deity according to their personal emotions. For example, "God is Love" is commonly expressed in emotional terms, hence god must also have emotions.
The Divine is personal to each individual and meets what is needed to continue personal spiritual growth. Most religions are chosen based where you gain the most support. People generally cling to the same religion as other family members. Others may change religion according to a shift in beliefs and need for individual growth. Even those who decide there is no Divine still reach their conclusion according to their spiritual needs.
If you relate to your world emotionally, then it stands to reason that there must be an emotional deity within your world. Any of the book religions will offer some fine choices to meet your emotional fulfillment. And may each of you find the deity that best meets each of your needs.
